Multi-faceted strategy for Brilliant Lights events

Illuminating coverage for Winchester Science Centre and Planetarium

Last month, Winchester Science Centre and Planetarium hosted its ‘Brilliant Light’ Half Term showcase and tasked McKenna Townsend to put a spotlight on the action.

Through a multi-faceted strategy of proactive media relations, FAM trips and social media engagement, we illuminated the events to an audience of over 6million people.

Achieving over 25 print and online articles, within both national and regional press, highlights included The Guardian, MSN, The School www.ativan777.com Run, Primary Times, Hampshire Chronicle and Get Surrey. The articles combined generated an AVE of over £500,000, positioning Winchester Science Centre as a key family attraction to visit during the Half Term period.

With a supplementary and targeted social media approach, news about the Brilliant Light events reached a further digital audience of 331,018, generating over 600 likes, comments and shares. Let there be light!
