McKenna Townsend has been awarded the PR and digital marketing work for the title sponsor of the Southampton Boat Show, TheYachtMarket.com.
Since its inception in 2003, by business partners Richard Roberts and Simon White, TheYachtMarket.com has become the global marketplace for boats. Driven by their love of boats, Richard and Simon identified an opportunity to create an online sales platform and have grown the business significantly over the years. Today, it has more than 50,000 boats for sale online, ranging from RIBs and powerboats to yachts and superyachts. Its website achieves more than 24 million-page views and constant investment in technology has helped to keep TheYachtMarket.com ahead of its competitors.
The programme will include comprehensive media relations, a targeted social media engagement drive to deliver better reach to new audiences and liaison with British Marine to maximise opportunities for the upcoming boat show.
